Grip-It P Powder is a Professional Grade Anti Slip Additive Powder to be mixed with a COATING type sealer or paint to increase the slip resistance of the surface by creating a micro-textured anti-slip finish without any sharp abrasive edges. Clear, durable and hard wearing.

USE WITH:

Mixed with either water or solvent based coating type sealers, floor paints or epoxy coatings, polyurethane coatings etc  where additional slip resistance is desired.

WHERE TO USE – (ONLY WITH COATINGS)

Indoor, outdoor, domestic, commercial and industrial area.  Hard wearing and durable.

TEST FIRST:

End user must determine the suitability of product for their use. Do a test in an inconspicuous area to determine desired anti-slip results and final look.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. Always test first;
2. Read label, SDS and technical bulletin before using;
3. Wear skin, eye and mask protection;
4. Use in a well ventilated area.

BEFORE YOU START:

1. Protective gloves, skin, eye and mask;
2. Plastic spoon and scales;
3. Suitable stirrer to continue to stir product in the coating sealer or paint being used;

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Slowly mix Grip-It P Powder into the FINAL coat of the coating sealer or paint to be used;
2. Mix 15-30gm per 1 litre (depending on how much anti-slip you want to create); For extra anti-slip, add more powder to the coating sealer or paint as required;
3. Stir well to ensure even dispersion;
4. Apply the coating sealer or paint as per that product’s instructions;
5. Stir coating sealer or paint regularly to ensure even dispersion of Grip-It P Powder so it doesn’t settle.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. For best results, use in the FINAL coat;
2. For extra anti-slip, add more powder to the coating sealer or paint as required;

LIMITATIONS:

CANNOT be used with penetrating type sealers or colour enhancers. ONLY use with coating type sealers, floor paints or epoxy floor coatings

COVERAGE:

1. 150gm can be mixed with 5 to 10 litres of coating sealer or paint depending on the amount of anti-slip required.
2. Coverage will depend on the coverage of the actual coating sealer or paint product that Grip-It P Powder is added to. Check the coverage of the coating sealer/paint product you will be using.

HANDLING AND STORAGE:

• Store in original container and close tightly after each use.
• Store and use between 4°C and 32°C. 
• Wash hands, clothes and tools with clean water before product dries.
• Shelf life is approximately 5 years – less after opening. Test first before using. Shake well before using

FIRST AID:

Contact Poisons Information Centre (Phone 131 126) or a doctor. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If in eyes, flush continuously with running water for at least 15 minutes. If skin, hair or clothes contact, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
